We bought a mid-range bike with stabilisers for our 4 year old as a first bike and regretted it on the first test run.
It was heavy, uncomfortable and not really fun for our son. “Luckily” the stabilisers made the rear wheel stuck so we put it away and started looking for a quality balance bike.

We found the Woom 1 Plus and The Little Bike Company and it was a completely different experience. Our kid was enjoying it from the very first minute and within hours he was a confident rider without any pressure or stress just having fun with his new bike.

Very lightweight bike so it is easy on the parents if the little one gets tired or you need to bring it up a couple of flights of stairs. Love the colours as well.

We bought our daughter a fairly cheap balance bike and she showed little to no interest. She then started to show an interest as she was outgrowing it. We found whilst looking at alternatives she was on the verge of outgrowing most of the balance bikes we were looking at and of course, we didn’t want to buy something she had no real time left in. This bike was the perfect height for her – she’s just above average height and was okay on the lowest saddle height.

She was an exceptionally timid girl and very reluctant to go any faster than a slow walking pace on her previous model.

Well, as soon as she was on this bike she was off. Granted, she was still timid when she first started out and not particularly fast, but she was far more confident than her previous model.

We’re now 5 months in, and she’s gliding along and we’re having to jog to keep up with her!

My only one tiny criticism is that the black on the handlebars scratches very easily, but it’s still looking great generally after 5 months of use (and a couple of months of almost daily use).

Overall, absolutely love this little bike and, most importantly, so does the 3 year old! We get lots of compliments too. 🥰
