We now stock Squish Bikes – great value lightweight bikes
We are now stocking a range of lightweight kids’ bikes from Squish. The bikes are competitive in terms of weight, but are even more competitively priced.
We decided to stock the range of Squish Bikes as a replacement for Raleigh’s Performance hybrids which have now been restricted to a couple of smaller sizes.
The Squish brand comes from Tandem Group Cycles, a U.K. Company which has an enormous amount of experience and heritage with two historic British bicycle brands; Dawes an Claud Butler.
Squish Bikes do not offer a balance bike, but they start with the Squish 14 at £229 up to the Squish 26 for £319 in hybrid bikes. There are also a couple of mountain bikes, the Squish MTB 24 and MTB 26. The mountain bikes have quality SR Suntour air suspension forks. The disc brakes are easy to maintain mechanical rather than hydraulic, which keeps the cost down.
The bikes are available in a small range of bright colours, which are very much the current trend with children’s bicycles. The frames and forks are all lightweight aluminium tubing and the geometry is well suited to younger/smaller riders.
In terms of value for money, we think that, in the world of lightweight kids’ bikes, Squish have a great offering. We are very pleased to add them to our range of lightweight children’s bikes.
