Purchased for my 7 year old Granddaughter for Christmas 2020, its a little large at the moment but we hope she will be able to ride it perhaps next spring. Bike arrived in original Frog box, that meant some extra re-assembly necessary, unlike some other suppliers who use larger boxes, to much reduce assembly. I mentioned this to Simon, the Director, and he said that larger boxes caused transport problems with Couriers, and high charges would mean having to pass on to customers. For assembly, two allen keys are supplied, but in the case of the Frog 52, you require more tools, so this could be a problem for some customers. Even though I have assembled many bikes in the past, I spent 3 hours assembling the Frog 52, that’s handlebars , mudguards, pedals, The resulting bike is a joy, and I hope and trust that it will give my granddaughter much pleasure.

Thanks for your comments. The only extra tool required is a Phillips screwdriver and a small spanner. We do not fit mudguards before we ship, as there has been damage caused during transit in the past. I am sorry the assembly took such a long time, it’s the first time I’ve heard it take that long.

Good bike but the gears are very difficult to switch down from higher gears to lower gears.
This is not safe and stops children from switching gear or trying harder by using their palm of their hand, which is unsafe.
Got in contact with Frog and they said I have to go via the distributor to make sure it’s logged.
Has to be addressed by Frog and ideally the gears should be changed to a newer version or another solution to be found. Not safe!!!
We know of two other Frog 52 in his friends circle who have the same problem.

Both parents being road cyclists we are hard to please and constantly disappointed by kids bikes. This has changed with the arrival of Agnes’ Frog Team Sky bike. Delivered to France, beautifully packaged (puts other companies to shame) and at last, a quality, well built piece of kit. Could be lighter (I said we were cyclists!) but I think we’ve found the best available bike of it’s type. Very pleased all round, with both the bike and the service we have received.
We have no commercial interest or connection with any company involved.

Great bike for my 5 year old. Had good advice from Simon in the shop and importantly my son could try his new bike out first. How important is that for a child!

A really good bike and so well built, all the other kids love it too.Good friendly service and arrived on time for Toms birthday so he was over the moon.
